Chaiti Chhath Mahaparv Puja celebrated in the month of Chaitra every year , has started today 1st April 2025. This 4-day festival is considered very special for the worship of the Sun, which is celebrated with great pomp in the Terai regions of Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh and Nepal. In this festival, Sun God and Chhathi Maiya are worshipped, which gives the devotees happiness, prosperity and child happiness.
This four day fast of Chaiti Chhath is considered very difficult, in which the devotees stay without water for 36 hours and offer water to the Sun God. This puja starts with Nahay Khay. At the same time, it is concluded with Parana.
